The Blood & The Sweat
Michelle Olaya Ortega is one of Europe’s most prolific hardcore photographers. She has provided photos to my fanzines, as well as to records I have designed. She asked me to help out with a front cover design for her first photo book, ”The Blood & The Sweat”, published by herself. I wrote the title with brush and acrylic, and then chose two of Michelle’s photos to represent the theme of the book: hardcore tattoos and hardcore shows. This is the first time I have had the chance to work with the book format and I am damn happy about the outcome, and thankful towards Michelle for giving me the chance. The book sold out quickly, so you missed your shot.
